Perfect for a romantic getaway or just a well deserved, relaxing break, Baia Taormina Grand Palace Hotel and Spa is a luxury hotel with heavenly views of the breathtaking bay, after which it was named.
Chiselled into the side of a cliff, its natural stone archways and local materials blend beautifully with its surroundings, giving it a romantic and secluded feel.
Gardens cascade down the hillside leading to two outdoor pools overlooking the Bay of Taormina. The spa centre offers fantastic wellness treatments to help you relax and recharge your batteries, and there's a wealth of activities available nearby, including golfing, water-skiing, snorkeling and windsurfing.
Enjoy dining on the beautiful terrace each morning and watching the sun rising over the vast expanse of twinkling water in the bay far below as you set yourself up for the day. Breakfast is buffet style with plenty of options to choose from, including an omelette and crepe bar which are made up to order.
Situated 8km from the resort, this hotel is ideal for those who want to escape the crowds, however, for those days when you do want to enjoy a bit of hustle bustle, you can hop on the shuttle bus (payable locally), which will have you at the town centre or private beach in minutes. Or you can make use of the hotel’s private beach, with its own private entrance at the foot of the hill that the hotel is situated on. The use of the beach is included in the price and beach towels are provided in the hotel rooms.

This hotel is a secluded gem, absolutely ideal for romantic trips away. It's far enough away from the reosrt to enjoy some real peace, but still within easy reach if you do fancy a day or two of exploration during your stay.

Location
The exquisite hotel is based in a super peaceful and dreamy position high up in the hills, overlooking incredible vast views over the bay below. It is a 10 minute drive from Taormina's centre and the shuttle bus can take you there. The shuttle bus, which must be booked ahead (payable locally), runs from early morning til around midnight each night and runs almost every hour.
This is a truly idyllic, peaceful and secluded location and it should be noted that there are no restaurants or shops within walking distance as a result.
