The Andrea Bocelli Summer Experience gives guests the opportunity to get a real authentic taste of Tuscany, through its sites, sounds and most notably a mesmerising open-air performance by the world's most beloved tenor himself.

Your Holiday Itinerary

Day1Arrival in Montecatini

You will fly directly to Pisa Airport, where you will be met by your Topflight tour guide and directed to your coach. You will be transferred to the beautiful Grand Hotel Francia E Quirinale in Montecatini Terme, where you will stay for the duration of your time in Tuscany. Upon your arrival, enjoy a welcome brunch, the perfect way to settle in and start your Italian adventure.
In the afternoon, meet your tour leader for an informative session about the upcoming days, followed by a relaxing aperitif. As evening approaches, you are invited to enjoy a delicious 3-course dinner at the hotel, featuring local Tuscan flavours. After dinner, retire to your comfortable room for your first overnight stay in Montecatini.

Day2Meet and Greet & Explore Montecatini

Begin your day with a hearty breakfast at the hotel, setting you up for a morning exploration of the town. Meet your tour leader for an orientation walk through Montecatini Terme, known for its elegant spa buildings and picturesque streets. Next, take the funicular to the historic hilltop village of Montecatini Alto, where you’ll have free time to explore the medieval streets, enjoy breathtaking views, or sip a coffee in a local café. After returning to the hotel, enjoy a peaceful evening and overnight stay.

Day3Andrea Bocelli in Concert

After breakfast, enjoy a relaxing morning at your own pace in Montecatini, perhaps unwinding at the famous thermal baths or strolling through the town's charming parks. Indulge in a delicious 3-course lunch at the hotel and a snack pack for the afternoon will be provided for you. In the early afternoon, your coach will take you to Lajatico for the highlight of your holiday – the unforgettable Bocelli concert.
This is the show you have been waiting for - the magnificent tenor Andrea Bocelli opens his home-town’s doors for an incredibly unique experience. The theatre here holds only a couple of concerts by Bocelli in the summer and then falls silent for the rest of the year, giving it its name ‘Teatro del Silenzio’ or the Theatre of Silence. Be a part of this atmospheric and jaw-droppingly beautiful performance while enjoying the magic of the Tuscan countryside and its surrounding enchanting hills. The combination of such natural beauty and Bocelli’s music and voice will be an absolutely treasured experience.
After what is sure to be an incredibly moving show, your coach will return back to your hotel. As this is a late transfer, you will be provided with some light refreshments of fruit and water on arrival back at the hotel.

Day4Day at Leisure

After yesterday, a long but exhilarating day, you will spend today at your leisure, relaxing and enjoying Montecatini at your own pace. Perhaps you will choose to make the most of your hotel’s excellent facilities and take it easy by the pool. Alternatively, take a stroll around the charming town of Montecatini, soaking in the local atmosphere. You might want to visit the nearby historical sites or simply unwind in one of the many inviting cafés. However you wish to spend your time is up to you.

Day5Excursion to Florence

After a satisfying breakfast, board the coach for a full-day excursion to Florence, the cradle of the Renaissance. Your tour leader will guide you on a 2-hour walking tour through Florence’s most famous sights, including the magnificent Duomo, Piazza della Signoria and Ponte Vecchio. After the guided tour, enjoy free time to explore this fascinating city on your own. You can shop for local leather goods, admire the art in the Uffizi Gallery, or relax in one of Florence's beautiful piazzas before returning to the hotel for the evening.

Day6Siena & San Gimignano with Wine Tasting

Start the day with breakfast at the hotel before heading out on a scenic coach ride to Siena. Here, you’ll embark on a guided walking tour of the city, taking in its famous landmarks like the Piazza del Campo and the stunning Siena Cathedral. After the tour, enjoy some free time for lunch and perhaps a wander through Siena’s medieval streets.
In the afternoon, travel to San Gimignano, known for its striking medieval towers. Enjoy free time to explore the town, then visit a local wine estate for a tasting experience, where you’ll sample five wines along with traditional Italian snacks like organic olive oil, balsamic vinegar, pecorino cheese and mixed cold cuts.
You will then be returned to the hotel by coach in the evening for an overnight stay.

Day7Day at Leisure

Today is another chance to relax and enjoy the Tuscan countryside. Spend your day however you like, whether that’s lounging by the hotel pool, exploring more of Montecatini, or visiting the nearby towns.
On your final evening, we invite you to enjoy a delicious farewell dinner at the hotel. Relax and unwind after a busy few days and enjoy your last evening in Montecatini before your final overnight stay.

Day8Return Home

After a final breakfast, your coach will transfer you to the airport for your return journey home, bringing with you wonderful memories of your time in Tuscany.
