In the Hotel Zum Hirschen, a warm welcome awaits and guests can enjoy some wonderful hospitality, as well as a perfect location.
Based right in the heart of Zell am See and only 150m to ski lifts, this hotel is the perfect choice for those who like to be at the centre of it all. With such ease of access to the slopes, ski lovers and boarders are well catered for. The Schmittenhohe which is Zell am See’s local mountain, is one of Austria’s most beautiful and scenic. It offers well groomed ski slopes and caters for all levels of abilities.
After a day on the slopes, this hotel provides its guests with great wellness facilities that help to ease those weary muscles from a day on the slopes. A sauna, infrared cabin, kneipp basin and swimming pool provide wonderful ways to relax and unwind. If you want to really indulge, you can book yourself in for a massage too.
For dinner, guests are treated to a 4 course evening meal (from Winter 2022/2023 dinner will provided 6 days a week. Restaurant will be closed on Sunday). The hotel’s award winning restaurant is popular with both tourists and locals alike, a testament to the delicious food that is served up here. After dinner guests can relax with a glass of wine, from the bars extensive range.
Rooms here are comfortable and perfect for relaxing after a challenging and active day. Each room is unique and well equipped with everything that guests need to enjoy their stay. For children who are not yet ready for skiing (aged 2 years and over) we will take care of the kids while you enjoy skiing or snowboarding! For your convenience we are open Sunday to Thursday from 09.30 to 15.30

Mini Club
In the Mini Club your little ones are slowly guided towards skiing by qualified ski instructors and children?s supervisors. The first basics are negotiated with a lot of dedication. The supervision and learning through playing are foremost here. There is a small race every Thursday at the end of the course and every child receives a medal and certificate afterwards. Mini Club - 10 - 12am or 1:30 - 3:30pm and children age 3-4 years old

Welcome to Austria, my name is Lindsey and I am originally from Scotland but our home has been in Austria for many years now.I started to ski as soon as I could walk in the Highlands of Scotland, however in search of fairer weather skiing, I came to Austria when I was 18. My love of skiing in winter and cycling in summer means that I know Austria pretty well and I want you to love it just as much as I do. Our excellent team is here to ensure you enjoy your well earned ski holiday, so please let them know if you have any questions. Our aim is that you return home happy, so let us deal with anything that gets in the way of that, when you are in resort. Your Resort Managers are here to help, so pop along and see them, you never know what tidbit of information you might learn. Hi, my name is Sue and I am originally from Yorkshire. Austria is now my home and I have had the great privilege of living in the mountains for the last 15 years. I have worked for Topflight in most of their resorts and this winter I will be working as Admin support for our fantastic Austrian team and will be on duty on Saturdays at Salzburg airport.
