Born in Finland, where I grew up in a remote town surrounded by wilderness. I learned the love of nature and outdoors at a very young age, as well as basic skiing skills in a small ski resort nearby. I always had a dream of travelling and exploring the world, and at the age of 18 I left Finland in order to pursue that dream. The first couple of years were spent in South-East Asia and Australia, working wherever possible while traveling and experiencing different cultures. When it was time to return to Europe, I ended up in Ireland in 1999, and ever since then Ireland has been my home away from home, although the years have taken me to many other exotic countries. I ended up working in hospitality after completing a year-long wilderness guiding course in South-Africa, which gave me skills to be able to work in hospitality in Tanzania and Uganda, where I spent 17 years. During those years, together with my then Irish partner and our children, we would fly to Finland once a year for a ski holiday and that is how I learned to love snowboarding. So currently I feel like I could not be in a better place at a better time - here in a small, scenic Austrian village with an access to the mountains and the ski resort right by my door step!
Welcome to Austria, my name is Lindsey and I am originally from Scotland but our home has been in Austria for many years now.I started to ski as soon as I could walk in the Highlands of Scotland, however in search of fairer weather skiing, I came to Austria when I was 18. My love of skiing in winter and cycling in summer means that I know Austria pretty well and I want you to love it just as much as I do. Our excellent team is here to ensure you enjoy your well earned ski holiday, so please let them know if you have any questions. Our aim is that you return home happy, so let us deal with anything that gets in the way of that, when you are in resort. Your Resort Managers are here to help, so pop along and see them, you never know what tidbit of information you might learn. I wish you a fantastic holiday and Viel Spass auf den Bergen (have fun on the mountains).
Hi, my name is Sue and I am originally from Yorkshire. Austria is now my home and I have had the great privilege of living in the mountains for the last 16 years. I have worked for Topflight in most of their resorts and this winter I will be working as Admin support for our fantastic Austrian team and will be on duty on Saturdays at Salzburg airport. During the summer I am the Austria Resort Manager for all Topflight tours and resorts and will be based in St Johann. I wish you all a fantastic holiday and look forward to welcoming you.
