This coming season the We Are Vertigo ski trip is heading to Passo Tonale, Italy on February 27th 2016. Situated in the Adamello Ski area at the base of the Presena Glacier. Passo Tonale is a purpose built ski resort on the border of Trentino and Lombardia. It is one of the highest ski resorts in Italy and therefore is almost guaranteed great snow conditions - You can even ski there in the summer!

The Adamello ski area is 100km of skiable pistes and is made up of the three ski areas of Passo Tonale, Ponte di Legno and Temu. From the easier sun drenched south facing pistes in Tonale, towering way above the tree line. The winding fun red runs through the trees of Ponte di Legno. Then onto the slightly more challenging blacks on the Presena Glacier or Temu. There are pistes for every confidence level and ability.

The resort, whilst purpose built by skiers for skiers - still has of a lot of charm. The trattoria's, bars and cafes are unusual due to it's special location on the border. The Trentino region was once part of Austria, so it's not uncommon to see both Austrian & Italian food on the menus around the Village. All the hotels and bars are family owned and ran, so wherever you go you get welcomed with open arms.
